LOCATIONS OF PYROCLASTIC DEPOSITS ON MERCURY

In Kerber et al. (2011) and Goudge et al. (2014) we described the global distribution of pyroclastic deposits on Mercury using MESSENGER flyby (Kerber et al., 2011) and orbital (Goudge et al., 2014) data. These features are high-reflectance, spectrally red deposits with diffuse boundaries that are centered on a central vent. Here we provide the global catalog of pyroclastic deposits presented in the two papers cited above.

Point Shapefile: This ZIP file contains a shapefile with the locations and names of all 51 deposits identified by Kerber et al. (2011) and Goudge et al. (2014). This file is ready to use with ArcMap and other GIS software. These data are in the Mercury_2000 Geographic Coordinate System.

Excel File: This contains the locations and names of all 51 deposits identified by Kerber et al. (2011) and Goudge et al. (2014) in Excel spreadsheet format.
